Ephiphanio Adebambo Joseph started his musical career at the tender age of 8. at 14, he was already established as a performer in the church. After his secondary education at Ishan Grammar School, Uromi, Bendel State, and later St. Finbars College, Yaba, Lagos. Eppi Fanio enrolled as a private student at the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music, Britain. He graduated and later in 1976 released his debut album titled  Farola, a Brazilian word meaning a mixture of gari and stew. Since then Eppi Fanio released other hits like Eba Mi Yo.
